BUTTERSCOTCH PUDDING 
3/4 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. milk
3/4 c. water
1/4 c. butter
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together sugar, cornstarch and salt in a saucepan. Stir in milk gradually. Cook over medium heat, stir constantly until thick and boiling about 1 minute. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in eggs. Boil 1 minute more, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Blend in butter and vanilla. Serve in dessert cups. Chill.
