ONE STEP POUND CAKE 
2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. grated lemon peel
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. each baking soda and salt
3/4 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. sour cream
4 lg. eggs
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour 9 inch fluted tube pan. In mixer bowl, beat all ingredients, except confectioners' sugar and lemon juice for 3 minutes. Pour into pan. Bake 55 to 60 minutes until cake tests done. Cool 15 minutes. Remove cake from pan; cool. Mix confectioners' sugar and lemon juice; drizzle over cake. Makes 12 servings. Put your sneakers on - this cake is fast, fast, fast!
