CAROLINA BEEF STEW | |
2 lbs. stew beef (cubes) 2 onions, sliced 2 stalks celery 6 carrots in chunks (or lg. slices) 3 potatoes 2 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. sugar 2 tbsp. tapioca 2 1/2 c. tomato juice (pour over top) Place in large casserole in order given. Cover with foil then cover tight with casserole cover. Bake 4 hours 250 degrees. (Use large 4 quart casserole.) |
