5 HOUR BEEF STEW 
2 lb. beef chunks
4-6 carrots, 1" slices
4-6 potatoes, cubed
1 c. celery
1 green pepper, sliced
1-2 diced onions
3 tbsp. instant tapioca
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. sugar
1 (24 oz.) can V-8 juice

Combine first 6 ingredients in Dutch oven. Add other ingredients over vegetables. Do not mix. Pour juice over ingredients. Do not mix! Cover and bake at 250 degrees for 5 hours. Do not peek or raise lid during cooking time.
