MRS. MAC'S ORIGINAL POTATO
CASSEROLE
 
Potatoes
Bacon grease
Seasoning salt
Garlic powder
Salt
Pepper
Dry minced onion or regular
Cheddar cheese, grated

Scrub and bake potatoes (any amount). Cube leaving skins on. Fry in bacon grease. Add salts, pepper, garlic and onion. Brown good and crispy. Put into greased casserole. Cover with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes until hot.

Make casserole day before party and refrigerate overnight.

Usually 1 potato per person and 1 for the pot. Large party - 10 pounds put in turkey roasting pan.
