SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. cracker crumbs
1/2 c. milk
1 egg
1 tsp. sugar
1/3 c. chopped onion
4 1/2 oz. can deviled ham
1 tsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
Bit of parsley
1 can cream of chicken or celery soup

Onion can be mixed raw with above mixture or can be sauteed in tablespoon shortening. Shape in form of balls about size of a 50 cent piece and brown. Remove from skillet. With the pan dripping, add soup diluted with milk. Bake slowly for about 1 hour in oven at 350 degrees. Can be frozen then baked.
