BBQ RIBS 
Melt 1/4 pound butter. Add 1 small chopped onion; simmer 1/2 hour. Add 1 cup water; mix. Add 1 cup ketchup; mix. Add 1/2 teaspoon vinegar. Add 1 teaspoon lemon juice. Add 1 teaspoon molasses. Add 2 cups brown sugar; mix. Add 3 squirts each of A-1 sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and Heinz 57 sauce. Add garlic salt and MSG or Accent to taste. Simmer 15 minutes.

Saute ribs in 1/2 bottle of beer in pan at 300 degrees for 1/2 hour. Pour off beer; add sauce. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour on longer.
