BROWN SUGAR MERINGUE 
2 egg whites (1/4 c.)
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts

Just before cake is removed from oven, beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually beat sugar and lemon juice into egg whites, beating until stiff. Carefully spread on hot 13 x 9 inch cake. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake in 400 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until brown. Frosts a 13 x 9 inch cake.
