STRAWBERRY SALAD DESSERT
2 c. curly pretzels, crushed
3 tbsp. sugar
1 c. sugar
1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen strawberries
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 sm. bowl Cool Whip
2 c. boiling water

Boil 2 cups water and combine with the strawberry Jello and the thawed packages of frozen strawberries. Place in the refrigerator until syrupy or partially set.

In the meantime, mix the crushed pretzels with the melted butter and 3 tablespoons sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan and bake in a 400 degree oven for 10 minutes, then set aside to cool.

Combine the cream cheese with the Cool Whip and 1 cup of sugar and stir or beat until well blended. Spread the cheese mixture on top of the cooled pretzel crust. Pour the strawberry mixture over the cheese layer and place the whole affair in the refrigerator until top is set.

It is guaranteed that nobody will be able to guess what you made the crust from even though they all have a second helping!
