CHOCOLATE TOWN PIE - CHOCOLATE
CHIP PIE
 
1 (9 inch) unbaked pastry shell
1/2 c. butter, softened
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. vanilla extract OR 2 tbsp. bourbon (yum)
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate or mint chips

Prepare pastry shell; set aside. Heat oven to 350 degrees. In small mixer bowl cream butter; add eggs and vanilla or bourbon. Combine sugar and flour; add to creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts; pour into unbaked pastry shell. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until golden. Cool about 1 hour; serve warm. Garnish with whipped cream or ice cream.
