1 can of pear halves, approximately 28 oz. 1 piece of ginger or 1 tsp. ground ginger Boil the pears in their juice together with the ginger, 10 to 15 minutes. Let pears cool in the syrup. Serve with real whipped cream, flavored with a tablespoon of sugar. Serves 4 to 5. |
