MARINATED BEEF (FOR GRILL) 
3 to 4 lbs. chuck roast
1 clove garlic
1 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. water
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 tbsp. cooking oil
1/4 c. soy sauce

With meat at room temperature, cut meat into 1 1/2 inch cubes and add meat tenderizer. Let set for 1 hour. Do NOT use salt.

Mash garlic with sugar. Add other ingredients into large bowl or marinating dish. Add meat. Let marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight. Grill approximately 5 to 10 minutes on each side.
