1 c. sweet potatoes, cooked and mashed
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. light Karo syrup
3 eggs
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch or flour

Mix together and pour into unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle with salted peanuts (if desired). Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
