1/2 c. soft shortening
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Blend together; form dough into balls. Place on tin cookie sheet. Press with fork. Bake at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes.
