CRUNCHY JUMBLE COOKIES 
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. regular butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 (6 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. raisins (optional)

Sift together flour, soda, and salt. Set aside. Measure butter and sugar into large mixing bowl. Beat until well blended and smooth. Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients; mix until combined. Stir in Rice Krispies, chocolate chips, and raisins. Drop by level measuring tablespoon onto lightly greased baking sheets. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) about 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove immediately from baking sheets. Yield: About 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
