3 c. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 3/4 c. shortening Mix all dough ingredients as you would a pie crust, adding just enough cold water to make a soft dough. Roll in large circle to form, turn over. FILLING: 1 lb. uncooked hamburger 1 med. onion 7 med. potatoes 1 med. rutabaga 2 1/4 tsp. salt Dash of pepper Sm. amount of butter Cut vegetables fine and mix. Put generous scoops of mixture on dough. Dot with butter. Fold dough over mixture and seal edges. Bake on cookie sheets at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Makes 5. These freeze well after baked. |
