MARTHA WASHINGTON COOKIES | |
2 egg whites 1/4 tsp. salt 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. pecans Beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add brown sugar and vanilla. Beat until stiff, fold in pecans. Drop teaspoon onto cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven at 250 degrees for 1 hour. Leave in oven additional 1/2 hour. Cool. Makes 3 dozen. |
