MARINATED BROCCOLI SALAD 
4 stalks broccoli with flowerettes removed
8 lg. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 med. green pepper sliced and sliced rings cut in thirds
3 stalks celery chopped
1 sm. head cauliflower with flowerettes removed
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. vinegar
1 1/2 c. oil
1 sm. onion
2 tbsp. poppy seed

Have all of the vegetables in a container that has a tight lid.

Make the dressing by placing the following in a blender: sugar, dry mustard, salt, vinegar, oil, onion and poppy seed. Blend in blender until onion and all ingredients are mixed well. Pour over vegetables. Chill at least for 3 hours before serving so that all flavors can mingle.

During the time the vegetables are marinating turn container upside down several times to be sure that vegetables on top have plenty of dressing on them. Serve on lettuce leaves.
