FUNNEL BREAKFAST CAKES 
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
Oil
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
Powdered sugar

Combine eggs and milk. Sift flour, baking powder and salt and add to milk and egg mixture. Heat oil to frying stage. Fill funnel with batter covering spout with finger. Release batter into oil making spiral shapes. Fry to golden brown. Remove cake from oil and drain on paper towels. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with jam or syrup or plain.
