CHOCOLATE TURTLES 
1 lb. caramels
3 tbsp. evaporated milk
1 1/2 c. pecans
2 tbsp. butter
1 pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 cup vegetable oil

Melt caramels and evaporated milk in the top of a double boiler until creamy. Add nuts and butter; mix well. Drop onto waxed paper and put in refrigerator to chill. Melt the chocolate chips with the oil in the top of a double boiler, stir well. Dip the chilled turtles into the chocolate mix. Put on waxed paper and cool.
