1 c. cooking oil
2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
2 eggs
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. boiling water with 1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Mix oil, sugar, flour, eggs, cocoa and milk together. Beat well, then add soda water, salt and vanilla and beat again. Bake at 350 to 400 degrees for 40 minutes.
