TACO BAKE | |
2 lb. ground beef 1 1/2 c. chopped onion 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans, drained 2 tsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 1/2 tsp. salt 12 taco shells 2 c. grated cheese 1/2 head lettuce, chopped 2 chopped tomatoes 8 oz. carton sour cream Brown beef and onions. Drain off fat. Stir in next 5 ingredients. Break taco shells in half and line bottom and sides of 13 x 9 x 2 inch dish. Spoon meat mixture over shells. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 15-20 minutes. Top with lettuce and tomatoes. Serve with sour cream. Serves 8. |
