ICED BUTTER COOKIES 
1 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
6 c. flour
1 tsp. salt

ICING:

1 stick butter, melted
2 lbs. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 sm. can milnot

With mixer cream butter and sugar. Add milk and eggs and soda. Add 3 cups flour and salt to this mixture and mix well. Add the other 3 cups flour and mix by hand. (Dough too heavy to mix with mixer.) Roll dough to 1/4" thick on flour covered board. Cut into desired shapes. Bake 6 to 7 minutes on greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees. Makes 6 dozen.

ICING: Mix butter, powdered sugar and vanilla. Gradually add the milnot to make creamy (may not use full can). Use food coloring for colored icing.
