2 lbs. frozen hash brown potatoes 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 c. onion, chopped 2 c. sharp American or cheddar cheese, grated 1/2 c. butter, melted 1 pt. sour cream 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup Butter a 3 quart casserole. Place thawed potatoes in prepared casserole. Add salt, pepper, onion and cheese. Melt butter, add sour cream and soup. Pour over potato mixture and mix gently. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serves 10 to 12. |
