GURABIJE COOKIES 
1/2 lb. lard
1/2 stick butter
1 c. sugar
6 eggs (yolks only)
4 c. flour
Lemon rind (1 lemon)

Yield: 75 cookies.

Mix, roll and cool for 5 hours. Roll out half of dough about 1/2" thick. Cut with small cookie cutters and place on cookie sheet. Brush with egg whites and top with chopped walnuts to which sugar is added (1 tablespoon). Bake 15 minutes in 325 degree oven. Watch so they do not get too brown.
