BOSTON BROWN BREAD | |
Baked, not steamed. Save 4 (#2) tin cans. Grease well. After baking, serve hot or make thinly sliced sandwiches with butter. 1/2 c. all-purpose flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 2 c. buttermilk 1/2 c. molasses 1 c. seedless raisins Mix all ingredients together. Spoon into cans. Let stand 30 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees about 45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. |
