3/4 c. all-purpose flour 1 (5 oz.) jar American cheese spread 1/4 c. butter, softened 1 c. corn flakes, finely crushed (1/2 c.) In a medium mixing bowl combine flour, cheese spread and softened butter. Mix with your hands until well combined. Spread crushed corn flakes on a piece of waxed paper. Shape cheese mixture into 1 inch balls by rolling small amounts between palms of hands. Roll in crushed corn flakes to coat. Place about 2 inches part on an ungreased cookie sheet. With the bottom of a drinking glass, flatten balls to 1/4 inch thickness. Bake in a 375 degree oven about 12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Makes 24. |
