RASPBERRY CORDIAL 
2 c. sugar
1 qt. water
1 qt. red raspberries

Mix sugar and water together. Bring to a rolling boil. Add berries and bring just to a boil again.

In gallon container (a plastic milk jug is fine) pour mixture of berries and sugar, a fifth of whiskey and finish filling to top with tap water. Put top on loose and let set for 6 months. Made in June will be ready for Christmas.
