CHOCOLATE CHESS PIE 
3/4 c. butter
1 1/2 squares unsweetened chocolate
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. light corn syrup
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Deep 9" pastry shell

Combine butter and chocolate in a double boiler over heat. Combine all other ingredients and mix with melted butter and chocolate. Mix well. Pour into unbaked pastry shell and bake at 375 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes.
