CHICKEN CACCIATORE | |
1 med. onion, chopped 1 med. green pepper, thinly sliced 1 tbsp. butter 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes (whole) 1/4 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. garlic salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 frying chicken (2 1/2 or 3 lbs.), cut up Fry chicken without flouring. In saucepan, add all ingredients. Add chicken with spices. Cook 25 minutes. If you like it juicy, add 2 cans tomato sauce and cook 10 minutes longer. Serve over cooked rice. Serves 4 to 6 people. |
