EGG BRUNCH DISH | |
16 slices bread, crusts removed 3 c. diced ham, fried bacon or sausage 4 c. shredded American or Cheddar cheese 1 tbsp. instant onion 8 eggs 3 c. milk 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. dry mustard 2 c. cornflakes, crushed 1/4 c. butter, melted Grease bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan. Place half of bread in bottom of pan. Top with meat then 3 cups cheese. Sprinkle with onion. Top with remaining bread. Mix thoroughly the eggs, milk, salt and dry mustard. Pour over bread. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight. Remove from refrigerator 1 hour before baking. Combine cornflakes and melted butter. Sprinkle over top. Top with remaining 1 cup shredded cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. |
