SCALLOPED POTATOES 
6 med. potatoes
3 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. onion, chopped
3 c. milk

Pare potatoes; slice thin. Make white sauce of butter, flour, and milk. Add this to potatoes along with onion and seasoning. Cover and bake in oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover and continue baking until top forms a crust. Cheese may be added to white sauce.
