SHRIMP DE JONGHE | |
1 lb. cooked, peeled, cleaned shrimp, fresh or frozen 3/4 c. toasted dry bread crumbs 1/4 c. chopped green onion 1/4 c. chopped parsley 3/4 tsp. crushed tarragon 1/4 tsp. crushed garlic 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1/4 tsp. salt Dash of pepper 1/2 c. butter, melted 1/4 c. sherry Thaw frozen shrimp. Combine crumbs, onion, parsley, and seasonings. Add butter and sherry. Combine crumb mixture and shrimp. Place shrimp mixture in 6 well-greased individual shells or 6 oz. custard cups. Place shells on a baking pan, 15x10x1 inches. Bake in a hot 400 degree oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until brown. Makes 6 servings. |
