HAMBURGER SOUP | |
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef 2 lg. onions 2 stalks celery 3-4 carrots 1/4 c. barley 4 potatoes, cut up 1 can wax beans 1 can white niblet corn 1 tsp. thyme 1 med. can V-8 juice 6-8 c. water Salt & pepper to taste Cook above all together until all veggies are done, about 1 hour. Any leftover veggies in the refrigerator may be added, or any other vegetables desired to your liking. (Because hamburger meat is not pre-cooked, if desired, let soup cool and skim fat off top; reheat.) |
