CRISPY ONION SQUARES 
1 1/2 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 egg, slightly beaten
3/4 c. sour cream
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 c. milk (about)
3 c. pkg. Biscuit mix
1 c. crushed potato chips

Heat oven to 450 degrees. Grease 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Saute onion in butter about 5 minutes or until golden. Remove from heat. Combine egg and sour cream in small bowl; mix well. Stir in onion, salt, and pepper. Add milk to biscuit mix in large bowl, stirring with fork until dough is formed. Pat dough into pan. Spread sour cream mixture over top. Sprinkle with potato chips. Bake 20 minutes. Cut into squares and serve hot. Makes 9 servings.
