BAKED CHICKEN WITH RICE 
1 c. uncooked rice
1 pkg. onion soup mix
6 chicken breast halves, skin removed
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 c. water
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 cans mushrooms

Spread rice evenly in bottom of 9 x 9 x 2 inch non-stick baking dish. Sprinkle with 1/4 of onion soup mix. Place chicken on top of rice and add remaining onion soup mix. Combine mushroom soup, water, pepper, and mushrooms. Pour soup mixture over chicken. Cover with foil. Bake at 325 degrees for 2 hours. Serves 6.
