CHICKEN WINGS ORIENTAL | |
3 lb. wings 1 c. dry sherry 1 c. soy sauce (Kikkoman) about 3-inches ginger root, minced 3 cloves garlic, minced 2 tsp. brown sugar Place wings in single layer of container and marinate overnight or several hours in sherry, soy sauce, ginger root, garlic and brown sugar (liquid to cover or almost). Drain marinade and cook at boil for 6 to 10 minutes. Preheat oven to 400°F. Place marinated wings in single layer in baking pan(s) and pour boiled marinade in to cover bottom of pan(s) to 1/2-inch. Bake for about 35 minutes, turning over wings or baste with additional liquid if necessary. Test for doneness. Should be golden brown. |
