SUGAR-FREE APPLE PIE 
4 cups sliced apples
1 6oz. can frozen apple juice
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. cinnamon
pastry for double crust

Wash apples. Peel, quarter, and remove core and slice. Heat apple juice in saucepan. Add apple slices; cover and simmer. Stir in cornstarch which has been blended with a little water. Fill pastry shell with apples. Dot butter over top. Top with remaining pastry. Trim edges and cut vents in top.

Bake at 375°F for 45 minutes or until brown.
