1 heavy beef chuck roast

Sprinkle liberally with soy sauce and pepper. Place in baking pan and cover with foil. Let marinate for about 1 hour and place in a 400°F oven for about 2 hours, depending on size. Do not add salt as the soy sauce is salty. It makes delicious gravy.
