PUNCH BOWL CAKE 
2 yellow cake layers (1 cake mix)
2 (4 oz.) pkgs. instant yellow pudding
1 lg. can cherry pie filling
2 (6 oz.) pkgs. shredded coconut
1 lg. can fruit cocktail, drained
1 lg. can pineapple, crushed or chunked, drained
2 (8 oz.) cartons whipped topping
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Bake cake layers as directed and cool. Prepare instant pudding as directed and let set up. Place one layer of cake in bottom of 6 quart punch bowl. Add in layers of 1/2 ingredients in following order: pudding, cherry filling, fruit cocktail, pineapple, nuts, coconut and whipped topping. Add second layer of cake and continue in same order using remainder of ingredients. Sprinkle top with nuts of your choice. Should serve at least 35 people. Spoon down side to at least first layer for full taste.
