BROWNIE PUDDING 
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. oil or shortening

Sift dry ingredients into bowl. Add remaining ingredients and stir until smooth. Pour into greased 8 inch square pan. Mix 3/4 cup brown sugar with 3 tablespoons cocoa and sprinkle over batter. Pour 1 1/3 cups hot water over all.

Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Serve warm with or without whipped cream or ice cream. Dessert makes its own pudding in bottom.
