ZITI 
1/2 lb. ziti macaroni
1/2 lb. sweet Italian sausage
1 c. mushrooms
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. flour
2 1/4 c. milk
2 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 c. green pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Cook sausage. Saute mushrooms, onions and pepper in 2 tablespoons of butter. Blend flour into the rest of the butter, gently stir in the milk, cook and stir until boiling. Boil 1 minute. Add the cheese, salt, pepper. Stir until melted. Cook ziti 10 minutes. Drain. Stir into cheese sauce. Add sausage, mushrooms, onions and black pepper. Pour into 2 quart dish and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
