2 loaves frozen bread dough 2 boxes vanilla pudding mix (not instant) 4 oz. chopped pecans 1 stick butter 1 c. brown sugar Cinnamon to sprinkle While dough is still partially frozen, cut each loaf into 12 slices. Melt 1/2 stick butter in 13x9 inch pan. Sprinkle nuts over butter. Lay 12 slices of bread dough over nuts and butter. Sprinkle dry pudding mix, brown sugar and cinnamon over slices. Melt 1/2 stick butter and pour over slices. Place second row of slices over slices in pan. Cover with damp cloth and let rise overnight. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake 20 minutes or until top is brown. Let cool 5 minutes. Cover pan with cookie sheet and turn pan upside down. Let set a minute and remove pan. |
