Olive oil cooking spray 1/4 c. diced onions 2 c. canned chicken broth 1 c. long grain rice, uncooked 1/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. ground turmeric 1 bay leaf Coat a non stick skillet with cooking spray; place over medium high heat until hot. Add onion and saute until tender. Add broth and remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; cover and reduce heat then simmer 20 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Remove bay leaf. |
