MEXICAN CASSEROLE (2) 
2 lb. ground beef or ground pork
1 med. onion, chopped
salt & pepper
chili powder
1 small can green chopped chilies
1 can mushroom soup
12 tortillas (or more)
grated cheese

Brown meat and onions. Drain grease. Season with salt, pepper, chili powder, and green chilies. Add mushroom soup heat thoroughly. Line casserole dish with broken tortillas. Put half meat mixture over tortillas. Sprinkle some grated cheese over meat. Put another layer of tortillas and rest of meat and cheese.

Bake at 350°FF for 30 min. Serve with hot sauce, lettuce salad, and a vegetable.

(Can add a can of chili beans to the meat mixture for a variation and to make it go further.)
