DELUXE ANGEL FOOD CAKE 
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. cake flour
1 1/2 c. egg whites
1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. granulated sugar

Measure flour after sifting one time. Add powdered sugar and sift together three times. Set aside. Beat egg whites, cream of tartar, vanilla and salt until foamy. Add granulated sugar, a little at a time to the beaten egg white mixture. Beat until stiff using an electric mixer. Fold in flour and powdered sugar. Bake about 40 minutes at 325 to 350 degrees.
