1 3/4 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
4 tbsp. cornstarch
1 small box strawberry Jell-O
dash of salt
1 pkg. strawberries
1 pie shell

Mix first 5 ingredients in pot. Cook until thick. Cool. Add sliced berries. Pour into pie shell. Chill. Top with Cool Whip.
