MATZOH BALLS 
4 eggs
1 c. matzoh meal
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water
1/3 c. melted shortening (onion flavored nyah fat)
Dash each of pepper & ginger

Beat eggs, add water, melted shortening, salt, pepper and ginger. Beat well with electric beater. Add matzoh meal and beat well. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Run hands under cold water and shape into balls. Drop into boiling salted water or broth for 20 minutes.
