BUSY DAY BEEF STEW 
6 lg. potatoes, pared & cut into pieces
6 lg. carrots, pared & cut in 2" pieces
3 lbs. stew beef, cut in 1 1/2" cubes
1/3 c. soy sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. flour
1 (12 oz.) bag frozen chopped onions
1 c. condensed beef broth
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce

Layer potatoes, then carrots on bottom of removable liner of a crock pot. Top with meat; sprinkle meat with soy sauce, salt, paprika, pepper and flour. Spread with chopped onions. Combine beef broth and tomato sauce and pour over all. Place liner in base. Cover and cook on auto 7 hours; or low 9 to 11 hours or high 5 hours. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
