FRIED RABBIT 
2 (1 1/4 lb.) rabbits
1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
6 tbsp. fat or oil
1/4 c. hot water

Wash and dry cleaned rabbits. Dredge with combined flour, salt and pepper. Brown on all sides in fat in covered skillet; sprinkle with hot water. Cover; simmer 45 minutes or until tender. Makes about 4 servings.

Gravy may be made from liquid remaining in skillet.
